I needed a break from the stress and worries of city life, so I headed to the beach…Oregon style! Cannon Beach is without a doubt one of my favorite places on the Oregon coast. If I could afford to buy a vacation home here—I probably would!
I got here at my favorite time: when the tide rolls out and you can see a splendid network of rocks and tide pools. Great day at the beach 🧡

I've always driven up to Seattle, but this time I took the train. Was it worth it? Also some grand views of the Puget Sound, Seattle Public Library, King Street Station, and other Emerald City highlights. Plus a vlog-related mishap at my hotel! :0

A path was hewn through a fallen evergreen on my journey through Washington Park. I was struck by the beauty and history of this former giant. Respect.
Naito Parkway is one of the most scenic routes through downtown Portland, following the edge of the Willamette River. I always love seeing it when viewed from the Lovejoy Ramp above.
